soldier for participation in an eArmyU program, subsequent
commanders have to honor this commitment.
To ensure that a soldier gets sufficient time to prepare for an
educational course and succeed in the exams, his commander needs to
reschedule his duties in such a way as to ensure academic success.
Besides such support, the US Army is committed to provide funded
tuition support and also a laptop, if so required. The GoArmyEd
portal provides tuition assistance to soldiers.
On his part, a soldier, once he has enrolled in an eArmyU
program, cannot withdraw from it. Further, the soldier must show
his commitment to the program by passing all milestones of the
program.
The SOCAD system is a consortium of colleges and universities
